Avanti Pilates was invited to teach a Geriatric Pilates mat class at the UCSD Geriatric Interdisciplinary Symposium on October 25, 2015. During the seminar, Daniella demonstrated the Pilates modifications used to work safely and effectively with seniors. The audience of physicians not only learned about Pilates mat exercises and chair exercises for those with impaired mobility, they also got to actively participate in the exercises as well!
